UPDOS AND DON'T DOS
LEARN FROM MATRIX WHAT WORKS WHEN DRESSING HAIR UP

DOS
1. Do pull some thin pieces of hair out of a bun or chignon
to frame your face and add a romantic, soft touch to your look.
2. Do comb or brush your hair before styling up. This will ensure
that there are no bumps or ridges on the road to the perfect updo!
3. Divide and conquer. Separate your hair at the tops of your ears.
Wrap the hair in your nape area up first, and fasten in place. Then
gather the front and sides, twist and secure.

DON'T
1. Don't do anything too dramatic or too structured. You don't
want to look too done up for the occasion.
2. Don't pin up freshly washed hair - it's hard to handle.
3. Don't ...and this is an important one - use clip-on hair
extensions or pieces. You need to play with them first and
experiment with your stylist!

Ask the Bibo expert for professional beauty tips

Q. How can I get the look of eye pencil
without the mistakes?

A. People who have trouble working with eye pencils have a
great alternative. Using an angle eye brush and a deeper tone
eye shadow you can achieve the look you want. All you need to
do is wet the brush, blot off excess water and apply your chosen
color. You get a soft smoky look, and the versatility of using the
same shadow in wet or dry.

RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS: Bibo angle brush, Bibo eye shadows in Dare,
Spunk or Desire.

Color Q&A from Matrix

Q. I have a teenage client that wants to relax the curl in her hair.
What is the best product to use to relax her extremely curly hair
without damaging it? I suggested perming her hair on large rods
to loosen the curl without removing it 100%. What do you think?

A. I prefer Vavoom Straight Talk for this kind of work. Straight Talk
has a no-ammonia formula that will relax the curl into softer waves
while helping to keep the hair protected and moisture balanced.
Another option is to try Sleek.look shampoo and condition with the
new Deep Moisture Masque for 3 minutes.
Apply Sleek.look Styling Crème Extreme from roots to ends and
comb through evenly. Roll hair on large velcro rollers and allow
to dry completely. Then finger rake a small amount of
GlowTrix
through to the ends. Your result will be smooth,
sleek hair with some volume and incredible shine!
