What is Curl.life?

New Curl.life defining system is everything a curl needs- from shampoo to styling.
Unique salon technology fuses moisturizers and curl-defining stylers into every step to create perfectly contoured, frizz-free curls.
Here is an overview of the Curl.life products:

  • Curl.life Shampoo
Delicately cleanses and moisturizes as styling agents build the foundation for perfectly defined curls.
  • Curl.life Conditioner
Detangles each curl as it moisturizes and smoothes the cuticle. Styling agents continue to define curls and control frizz.
  • Curl.life Contouring Milk
For normal to fine hair, shapes each curl for lasting definition, while adding body and shine. Provides lightweight moisture and frizz-control. Use for styling or finishing.
  • Curl.life Contouring Cream
For thick or course hair, shapes each curl for lasting definition. Controls volume and frizz as it moisturizes. Use for styling or finishing.

Do's & Don'ts for Permed Hair

Do

  • Wait 48 hours before shampooing your hair.
  • Wait 2 weeks to use conditioner on your hair unless your stylist instructs you to do so.
  • Let your hair hang loose for the first 3 days after your perm. Your hair is extremely fragile and should be handled with gentle care.
  • Rinse your hair with water for the first 2 days to help the curl bounce back.

Don't

  • Don't shampoo your hair for the first 48 hours or you will cause your perm to become more relaxed and more frizzy.
  • Don't use conditioner for the first 2 weeks unless your stylists instructs you to do so.
  • Another thing to remember is that you should not pull your hair into a barrette or pony band for the first 3 days of your perm. If you pull your hair back it could become very limp.

Keeping your Perm Fresh!
Here are a few steps to keep your perm looking fresh!

  • Allow your hair to air dry or use a diffuser to keep your perm intact. If you use a blow dryer, curling iron, hot rollers or any heat appliance your perm will relax and become frizzy.
  • You should not stand under a hot forceful shower.
  • Try to use products suggested by your stylist. This will insure the product will help your hair look it's best. By buying over the counter products you may make your hair look and feel heavy and dry because most over the counter products contain oil, lanolin, and wax which weight down hair and dry it out.
  • By using a pick on your hair instead of a comb or a brush, you will keep your perm looking healthy and fresh!
