What to use during the summer ... From the Sun to the Pool
Summer sun can be very damaging to your hair. It is especially damaging if you have color-treated hair. You should use products with UV protection such as Biolage Daily leave-In Tonic, Amplify Instant Conditioner or Matrix Essentials Instacure.
If you spend a lot of time in the pool and want to protect your hair from the chlorine try wetting your hair and using a leave-in UV conditioner before going to the pool. After using the pool be sure to use a product like Matrix Essentials Alternate Action Shampoo which works to take the chlorine out of hair and prevents it from turning green.
If you have natural gray hair you may want to try Matrix Essentials SoSilver which helps get the "yellow" out that sometimes occurs from sun exposure. Matrix Essentials SoSilver will also help keep blonde highlights from turning too gold or yellow.
If you spend a lot of time in the summer sun ad want your summer highlights to stay true to color you may want to try Biolage Earth Tones Conditioning Balm. It is available in violet, light gold, copper, true red and natural brown.

Wedding Bells Are Ringing ... Discover the Right Do for You on the Big Day!
First and foremost, you'll want to consider the style of your dress. Just breathe. You're going to look beautiful. Decide on the look you're going for - if you're thinking romantic, Victorian style then a gorgeous updo would be most striking. Or half up/half down with cascades of curls goes too! Maybe you want a more modern look. Try leaving hair down and full of body. If you can, show your stylist a snapshot of the dress you've decided on. They would love to help create a lasting vision for your guests as you walk down the aisle.
Always have a preview styling session. Maybe for your bachelorette party. That way you'll know if the style you've envisioned gives you the look and feel you're going for on the big day. To find out more visit the Matrix web site.

Wedding Updos and Don't Dos
D
OS
1. Do pull some thin pieces of hair out of a bun or chignon to frame your face and add a romantic, soft touch to your look.
2. Do comb or brush your hair before styling up. This will ensure that there are no bumps or ridges on the road to the perfect updo!
3. Divide and conquer. Separate your hair at the tops of your ears. Wrap the hair in your nape area up first, and fasten in place. Then gather the front and sides, twist and secure.
DON'T
1. Don't do anything too dramatic or too structured. You don't want to look too done up for the occasion.
2. Don't pin up freshly washed hair - it's hard to handle.
3. Don't ...and this is an important one - use clip-on hair extensions or pieces. You need to play with them first and experiment with your stylist!

Ask the Bibo expert for professional beauty tips
Q. No matter what I do, my lip color never lasts, and now it's feathering too! What can I do?
A. The great news is that this technique works to solve both problems. First, choose a lip pencil that is close to your natural lip shade. Now line and fill in the entire lip and lip line. Lightly set with your face powder. Apply your chosen lipstick, blot once and apply again. This helps to keep your color on much longer and prevents feathering too!
