Sun, Heat and
Humidity -
How to protect your hair
As the summer sun heats up you may notice your hair
changing and not usually for the better. The sun will dry your
hair texture and the the humidity will make it much fuller for
thick coarse hair and limper for thin hair. A good summer humidity
product is the Sleek.Look
set which includes shampoo, conditioner and gel. When you
come in and purchase the Sleek.Look set of shampoo, conditioner
and gel you will get a Free professional flat iron, all for $33.85.
If you color your hair you have to watch out for
fading. You should always use a product with UV protection such
as Biolage
Daily leave-In Tonic, Amplify
Instant Conditioner or Matrix Essentials Instacure.

Know the rules for
Chlorine and Color
Either Sink or Swim
Oil and water don't mix and neither does bleached blonde hair
and chlorine. The chlorinated water in pools can turn blonde-colored
hair greenish - not a pretty sight to say the least. So what can
you do to swim carefree? Purchase products that protect your hair
from chlorine before heading out to the pool, wet hair under the
shower and coat with a special leave-in UV conditioner. This acts
as a barrier against both chlorine and the sun's harsh rays. Be
sure to rinse hair out in clean water immediately after swimming.
Use a shampoo especially formulated to remove chlorine from your
hair such as Matrix Essentials Alternate Action Shampoo. This
will work to take the chlorine out as well as prevent it from
turning green.

Bibo
Salon Tips
Q. I am always at a loss to determine what eye
shadows to choose. Can you describe the Bibo eye shadow shades
to me?
A. It is always easier to look at eye shadows
by groups. By looking at shades from these guidelines, you can
make combining much easier.
neutrals
Wish - A soft matte ivory with an alabaster finish.
Hope - A warmer cream with a matte finish.
Peek - A touch of shimmer gives this peach tone a rich finish.
Adore - A mauve based pale pink with a slight shimmer finish.
Glimmer - A high shimmer gold with warm peach undertones.
medium/bridge tones
We call these bridge tones because they can be used as your contour
shade, or as the blending shade when combining a lighter and deeper
tone for a more dramatic look.
Swing - A matte tan with a touch of rosy peach.
Frolic - A khaki tone with olive undertones, this shade really
brings out the green in both hazel and green eyes.
Cherish - A true taupe that works as a great basic, and a wonderful
eye brow color for all skin tones.
Jinx - This shade takes taupe and adds high shimmer to create
pewter and smoky silver.
Tease - A silvered violet with bluer based tones for a softly
cool finish.
Amuse - A warmer matte purple with balanced tones of red and blue
that work on all skin tones.
deep/contour shades
Dare - Aubergine purple with a touch of shimmer to add dimension.
Delight - A sheer and shimmery shade with balanced tones of brown
and burgundy.
Desire - A warm matte brown with a touch of wine.

great basic for all skin tones.

matte brown.
Wink - Soft shimmer allows this true periwinkle purple to be applied
both as a sheer shade, or with added intensity for a more dramatic
